Breast Cancer Awareness
In October, we focused on Breast Cancer Awareness
We encouraged patients and staff alike to read about the risk factors for Breast Cancer and provided informative handouts on ways to limit risk. We also gave out reminders to conduct "Self Breast Exams" every month.
For this challenge, Olympic Physical Therapy teamed up with a local organization called: THE HEALING CO-OP
The Healing Co-Op is a free nonprofit organization based out of Middletown, RI that is dedicated to the support of women with cancer and their families.
The Healing Co-Op came into the clinic to offer informational handouts to augment breast cancer awareness.
We offer "Got Hope" shirts and bracelets at the clinic. 100% of the proceeds for these go directly to the organization.
